Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness Certification required within 30 days of hire
  • 1-2 years of hospitality or food service management experience
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • Flexible schedule availability
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Limited ability to travel is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of hospitality or food service management experience resulting in positive sales and growth
  • Proven ability to maintain highest levels of restaurant cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Strong understanding of operational standards and job functions within a bar or restaurant
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to train staff across various stations
  • Knowledge of food safety and alcohol awareness requirements
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Positive attitude with an approachable demeanor

Job Duties

  • Manage all aspects of restaurant operations including customer service, financial performance, staff training, and operational efficiency
  • Build sales and exceed financial goals
  • Develop and grow World of Beer staff through ongoing training and support
  • Ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Maintain knowledge of all job functions and operational standards
  • Communicate regularly with staff, General Manager, and Regional Manager
  • Make hiring, firing, and employment recommendations
  • Manage staffing and manpower planning
  • Provide feedback and take appropriate disciplinary or recognition actions
  • Uphold a favorable image of World of Beer and promote its objectives
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company programs
  • Focus on increasing comparable store sales and profitability
  • Manage budgets, inventories, and financial reporting accurately
  • Maintain equipment and purchase products per specifications
  • Ensure the bar complies with federal and local laws
  • Resolve customer and employee issues promptly
  • Perform product management functions as needed
  • Follow safety practices and controls
  • Maintain knowledge of all financial controls
