Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • ability to work days, nights and weekends as required
  • capability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment
  • ability to read and write handwritten notes
  • lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • stand or walk 100 percent of the shift
  • frequently reach, bend and stoop
  • strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • ability to handle multiple guest interactions with enthusiasm
  • must demonstrate ability to articulate clear greetings, requests for assistance and farewells
  • able to work flexible schedules to accommodate school or other jobs
  • comply with company’s dress guidelines and maintain professional appearance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in restaurant, retail or cashier roles advantageous but not required
  • excellent communication skills with ability to multitask and engage multiple guests enthusiastically
  • ability to maintain a positive, friendly demeanor and smile frequently
  • proficient in English with clear verbal communication
  • demonstrated ability to handle dissatisfied guests calmly and professionally
  • ability to follow dress code and maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance
  • strong organizational skills to maintain host station and manage supplies effectively

Job Duties

  • Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in a fun environment
  • act as ambassador by greeting guests warmly while coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales and telephone duties
  • keep supervisors informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
  • bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction and invite return visits
  • prepare the shift by stocking supplies such as menus, silverware, power cards and gift cards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and host station
  • manage guest flow and wait times efficiently by guiding guests and communicating with team members and management
  • process transactions accurately including bill calculations, merchandise sales and to-go orders
  • assist other team members as needed and foster a cooperative work environment
  • handle guest concerns calmly and escalate to managers when necessary
