Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED required
  • minimum of 2 years of hotel front office experience preferred
  • experience with Opera PMS and IHG systems preferred
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • strong mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Job Duties

  • support the Front Desk Manager with daily operations and overall team performance
  • prepare weekly sales forecasts and business reports to support strategic planning
  • create and manage front desk schedules, adjusting staffing based on occupancy and business needs
  • oversee check-in, check-out, and reservation procedures to ensure efficient, professional service
  • collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and guest satisfaction
  • monitor room rates, inventory, and revenue strategies to maximize occupancy and ADR
  • maintain accurate records of occupancy, arrivals, departures, and reservation activity
  • handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to ensure outstanding service
  • train, coach, and mentor front desk staff to promote growth and engagement
  • participate in departmental budgeting, staffing forecasts, and expense monitoring to ensure cost control
  • represent the hotel positively in all interactions and uphold a strong service culture
