Job Requirements
- may be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- high school graduate or equivalent
- preferably two years experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard
- experience in a healthcare environment preferred
- any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment
Job Duties
- greet and assist all visitors
- answer the switchboard
- prepare and code daily receivables
- maintain the facility census book
- document incoming deliveries
- process incoming and outgoing mail
- provide clerical support as requested
- prepare weekday deposits
- prepare monthly statements for mailing
- assist with various clerical duties and projects
- assist with completing appropriate paperwork for new admissions during after-hours shifts if assigned
