Job Requirements
- Able to sit for long periods of time

Job Duties
- Greet and direct clients, visitors, and staff in a professional, courteous manner in person or on the telephone
- receiving, screening, and routing all telephone calls or walk-ins, taking accurate messages and providing referral/general information as appropriate
- checking in walk-ins for Counseling Center, providing appropriate paperwork and information to complete paperwork, documenting walk-in data
- checking phone messages daily
- maintaining scheduling systems for clinical staff, including making reminder calls
- contacting clients to cancel appointments when counselor is out
- verifying insurance eligibility and maintaining proper documentation, including scanning identification and insurance card
- collecting co-payments and fees from and providing receipt to consumers/clients
- maintaining proper documentation and securing monies received
- distributing bus tokens and verifying client eligibility
- updating client demographics and notifying staff of any changes in client contact information
- providing appropriate documentation and admission process for potential clients who call in or walk in
- inputting new client information by referral or direct input
- maintaining log of all daily check-in and group sign-in sheets
- accepting deliveries from vendors and contacting appropriate programs
- working independently
- completing other duties as assigned
