Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
  • availability to work 1st or 2nd shift including weekends and holidays
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • proficiency with computer and POS systems
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • physical capability to lift objects up to 10 pounds
  • commitment to quality customer service
  • flexibility in work schedule

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Process guest check-ins verifying identity and payment
  • assign rooms and issue room keys
  • set up accurate guest accounts
  • ensure rates match market codes and document exceptions
  • secure payment and verify billing
  • compile and review daily reports and logs
  • complete cashier and closing reports
  • provide directions and property information
  • accommodate and follow up on guest requests
  • process payment types including vouchers and paid-outs
  • balance and secure bank at shift start and end
  • obtain manual authorizations
  • notify security of any theft reports
  • assist management with training and coaching employees
  • maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
  • adhere to company policies and report unsafe conditions
  • welcome guests and anticipate service needs
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • ensure adherence to quality standards
  • use POS systems effectively
  • stand and walk for long periods
  • perform physical tasks involving lifting objects up to 10 pounds
  • maintain customer service with a professional personality
  • work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • perform other duties as assigned
