- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

- Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations with customers, clients, and team members

Job Duties
- Greet and register guests
- Assign rooms to guests
- Issue room keys and provide escort instructions to Bellhop
- Date stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages
- Transmit and receive telephone messages
- Answer inquiries about hotel services, guest registration, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
- Keep records of room availability and guest accounts
- Compute bills, collect payments, and make change
- Make and confirm reservations
- Post charges including room, food, liquor, and telephone to guest ledgers
- Arrange restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations and tours
- Assist guests with depositing valuables in hotel safe or safe deposit box
- Perform nightly bucket checks
- Listen and resolve guest problems
