Job Requirements

  • Have a positive energy and be a team player

  • ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • one or more years of experience in a similar front desk or customer service role preferred
  • additional education, training, or certification in hospitality or related fields preferred
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team and with diverse groups
  • strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite preferred
  • demonstrated professionalism and integrity
  • ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • ability to manage time and multitask efficiently

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent and attentive service to guests
  • handle confidential information including guest records with integrity
  • ensure proper credit card and key control policies are followed accurately
  • obtain and verify essential guest information ensuring accuracy of records for check-in and check-out
  • know and follow hotel emergency procedures
  • maintain accurate accounts of cash and credit transactions
  • protect guests' privacy and confidentiality
  • process check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments
  • assist guests with luggage when necessary
  • safeguard company proprietary information and assets
  • use office equipment and property management systems proficiently
  • follow all safety and security policies
  • report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • attend training and meetings as required
  • exercise initiative and creative problem-solving
  • anticipate and exceed guest expectations
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel preferred
