Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service or hotel experience preferred
- Positive and upbeat personality
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking
- Effective communication skills
- Basic math proficiency
- Ability to implement safety and security procedures
- Willingness to complete training in security, alcohol, health, and safety
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
- Basic computer operation skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to assist in training new staff
- Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or customer service preferred
- Proficient in basic math and understanding financial information
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and solve problems effectively
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of hotel products and services such as food and beverage and recreation
Job Duties
- Greet guests and perform guest registrations
- Manage and modify reservations
- Handle hotel operator and concierge duties
- Resolve guest complaints professionally and courteously
- Process guest transactions including balance reports, cash control, and deposits
- Use persuasive selling techniques to promote rooms and marketing programs
- Maintain key control and process lost and found items
