Job Description

Fremont Village, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is a newly established senior living facility located in Zimmerman, Minnesota. Opening its doors in October 2022, Fremont Village serves as a welcoming home for seniors looking to Age Magnificently in an apartment-style community. The community comprises 65 units and offers a variety of living options including Assisted Living, Independent Living, and specialized Memory Care services. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food preparation or cooking
  • Knowledge of dietary regulations and sanitary procedures
  • Ability to work part-time from 2pm to 7pm with every other weekend rotation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Demonstrate compassion and professionalism in resident interactions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a senior living setting is preferred
  • Ability to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees
  • Advanced computer skills, including email use

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures
  • Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils
  • Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy
  • Ensure proper storage for food and supplies
  • Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures
