Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 5 years kitchen management experience
- Minimum one year experience in online ordering with major food vendor
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification
- Ability to cook creatively and cost-effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Comfort with technological tools and web-based applications
Job Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years kitchen management experience
- Minimum one year experience in online ordering with major food vendor
- Knowledgeable with operating kitchen machinery and/or culinary tools
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager certified
- Experience in cost effective and creative menu development
- Culinary degree/certification preferred
- Executive Chef experience preferred
- Knowledge to cook for dietary preferences such as vegetarian/vegan, dairy/gluten-free
- Comfortable with technological tools and web-based applications
- Experience leading a team
- Expertise in some form of specialty cooking such as pastries, sushi, smoking meats
Job Duties
- Collaborate with client to design a weekly menu
- Cook delicious meals in a timely manner in accordance with site agreement
- Interact daily with students/clients providing excellent customer service
- Maintain product and supply inventory through online ordering
- Report financial and other required results electronically
- Maintain a weekly established budget
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of kitchen spaces and equipment
- Communicate electronically, in meetings, through signage, and interpersonally with the Campus Cooks team and client partners
