  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills for report handling
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Provide quality customer service by giving one-on-one attention to detail
  • Oversee and participate in the preparation and service of food and beverage items according to company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety, and portion control
  • Help plan menus
  • Ensure timely and efficient meal service, supervise serving of meals
  • Respond to customer complaints in person and via email
  • Train employees and coordinate work to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service
  • Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite work flow
  • Complete required reports such as inventory, cash reports, production records, payroll, and time-keeping
  • Handle cash according to Food Accounting Manual guidelines
  • Order food and supplies from approved vendors
  • Direct and participate in sanitation and safety practices
  • Develop and enforce sanitation schedules for kitchen and dining areas
  • Issue written and oral instructions
  • Assist in selecting and orienting employees, oversee staff training
  • Perform other duties as assigned
