Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience driving box trucks
- Experience with route driving and refrigerated food transportation preferred
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must have valid food handler’s permit where applicable
- Ability to comply with sanitation and safety guidelines
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading
- Willingness to work full-time schedule including weekends
- Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and supervisors
- Must be able to maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance
Job Qualifications
- Valid state driver’s license
- Valid food handler’s permit where required
- Experience driving box trucks
- Experience in route driving
- Experience with refrigerated food transportation
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic laws
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Pick up requisitioned supplies from staging clerk
- Receive completed production orders and inventory items to ensure order completion
- Load orders onto truck safely with assistance
- Unload requisitioned materials at delivery sites
- Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
- Ensure compliance with company standards for hot and cold food transportation
- Collect empty containers and rejected merchandise
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle
- Perform routine maintenance on truck
- Interact with coworkers to ensure company service standards
- Provide quality customer service with attention to detail
- Perform other duties as assigned
