Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- able to pass a background check and Luby's cashier certification
- good organizational skills
- able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 25 pounds
- able to stand and walk for extended periods
- excellent customer service skills
- willingness to work varied schedules based on restaurant needs
- previous experience preferred but not required as training is provided
- team oriented mindset
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous customer service experience is a plus
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- strong organizational skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- experience with POS systems preferred
- ability to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
- team player with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Take guest orders accurately and efficiently
- package and label food items for takeout, curbside, and delivery orders
- bag and prepare orders for pick-up or delivery
- receive and ring up guest orders using the POS system
- deliver food and beverages as needed
- process customer payments accurately
- participate in off premise dining initiatives
