Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food handlers card within 30 days of hire and maintain current status thereafter
- Ability to work Monday to Friday shifts from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with rotating weekends and flexibility for evening shifts
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Must comply with all health and safety regulations
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to train and supervise staff
- Analytical and mathematical skills
- Computer proficiency
Job Duties
- Assist with daily management of the food service team including production, patient services, catering, retail
- Perform customer service, labor, purchasing, labeling, dating, waste management, sales, catering, and temperature daily audits
- Conduct ongoing and initial training of staff to ensure compliance with standards and patient-specific needs
- Utilize mathematical and analytical skills to record, monitor, and oversee food service operations
- Use computer skills to record and interpret data, create and print signs and other materials
- Assist food service department with additional duties as assigned
- Identify areas of risk or problems and advise food service leadership while working on resolution
