Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent certification
  • must possess and maintain a valid California noncommercial Class C Driver's License
  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience as a sous chef in a large-scale restaurant or hospitality environment
  • 3+ years experience leading or managing teams in a high-volume environment
  • ability to work rotating schedules including holidays, weekends, and nights
  • demonstrated ability managing a culinary production team specializing in vegan, vegetarian, and healthy cuisine
  • culinary knowledge of food inventory and nutritional information
  • ability to organize, delegate, and monitor work assignments
  • demonstrated ability to control food, labor, and supply costs
  • experience hiring, training, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating employees
  • working knowledge of safety and sanitation rules
  • skill conducting group trainings on customer service and food safety

Job Duties
