Job Requirements

  • Completion of four years of high school
  • minimum of three years related work experience
  • ServSafe certificate within 90 days of start
  • Massachusetts Allergen Awareness Certificate
  • full vaccination against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption
  • ability to work day shift including weekends and holidays
  • eligible to receive $400 new hire sign-on bonus

Job Qualifications

  • Completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized training or courses
  • a minimum of three years related work experience
  • ServSafe certificate within 90 days of start
  • Massachusetts Allergen Awareness Certificate
  • full vaccination against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Job Duties

  • Provide shift to shift leadership for the Patient Services Department
  • supervise and guide food service staff during assigned shifts
  • ensure compliance with health and safety standards including ServSafe and allergen awareness requirements
  • maintain quality control and timely delivery of patient meals
  • assist in training and development of new staff members
  • manage communication between food service and other hospital departments
  • perform other reasonable duties as assigned
