  • mathematical ability for basic measurements and recipe adjustments
  • ability to follow written and oral instructions

Job Duties

  • Perform general kitchen duties including food preparation and storage
  • clean and store dishes, utensils, and pots
  • perform general department sanitation
  • follow department policies and recipes to prepare and serve snacks and meals to patients and visitors
  • assist in various areas such as tray line, cafeteria, dish room, host/hostess, or catering
  • communicate effectively with peers and supervisors
  • adhere to local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure safety and privacy
