Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- able to perform physical requirements including walking, standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 pounds unassisted
- no allergies to soaps, cleaning agents or environmental factors in food service
- clean body, teeth, hair, nails, and clothing
- must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship
Job Qualifications
- Successful completion of Cashier Training Class and passing score on final test (if performing cashier duties)
- ability to read and comprehend safety, hazardous materials, and university policies
- experience in school or hospital cafeteria or similar quantity food preparation or service (preferred)
- good customer service skills
- ability to follow written and oral instructions
Job Duties
- Accurately assemble supplies and materials
- set up service area and serve food as required
- hand wash and store pots, pans, and food service equipment
- clean equipment and work area, maintaining sanitation and safety
- perform checker/cashier duties using computerized machinery and maintain records
- greet customers to ensure positive relationships
- set up, operate and clean dishwashing machinery and auxiliary equipment
