Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • cooking experience required (home cooking acceptable)
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • excellent attention to detail
  • effective communication and organizational abilities
  • prior knowledge or willingness to learn American Sign Language
  • ability to work part-time onsite at Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind

Job Duties

  • Preparing, serving and distributing food
  • working in various areas such as the tray line, dish room, cafeteria and storeroom
  • interacting with diverse clientele
  • maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas
  • following food safety and hygiene regulations
  • supporting team operations
  • assisting with inventory and stock management
