Job Qualifications

  • prior food service experience is an asset
  • basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
  • strong customer service skills
  • good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Preparing, serving and distributing food
  • working in various areas of the department such as the tray line, dish room, cafeteria and storeroom
  • maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • interacting with students and staff professionally and courteously
  • following food safety and compliance guidelines
  • assisting with inventory management and stocking
  • supporting team members in daily operational activities
