The open position is focused on providing essential food service in a healthcare setting, preparing, assembling, and delivering patient meals in alignment with the highest standards of quality, service, infection control, and food safety. This role involves delivering stock supplies, serving guests with positive customer relations, replenishing food and supplies, sanitation duties, dish room responsibilities, and handling cash transactions for food sales in the cafeteria. Additional duties include meal service for corporate retail, catering events, Doctors Dining Room, and other dining outlets, as well as decorating buffet and reception tables. The role is integral to maintaining food quality and safety while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and satisfactory experience for patients and guests. The estimated pay range is $16.00 - $18.38 per hour, depending on experience. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Safety Certification within 90 days of employment
- Less than 1 year of related experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Prepare, assemble and deliver patient meals in accordance with quality, service, infection control, and food safety standards
- Deliver stock supplies to the patient floor kitchens
- Serve guests, maintaining positive customer/guest relations
- Appropriately replenish used foods and supplies
- Complete sanitation duties
- Perform dish room duties as assigned, daily
- Collect payments for guest trays
- Handle transactions for food sales in the Cafeteria, as a cashier, in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Set up and serve meals for corporate retail, catering, Doctors Dining Room, and other dining outlets
- Decorate buffet and reception tables as assigned
