Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum two years of experience in institutional or commercial food preparation
- At least one year of supervisory experience preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions
- Ability to direct and manage the work of others
- Capability to work with written menus, recipes, and oral instructions
- Knowledge of food preparation equipment and methods
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and operate vehicles
- Required to obtain ServSafe Certification
- Ability to maintain accurate records and complete forms
- Excellent communication skills

Job Duties
- Conduct daily meetings with staff
- Ensure constant communication with clients and bakery supervisors during deliveries
- Maintain departmental standards for grooming, attendance, food safety, service, cleanliness, and organization
- Demonstrate a hands-on approach alongside staff
- Comprehend checklists, event orders, and prep sheets for deliveries
- Educate staff through lineups and individual coaching
- Develop and maintain a catering order tracking system
- Manage equipment and supplies storage
- Scan mileage logs monthly
- Drive routes and make timely deliveries following food safety practices
- Communicate with drivers and team members
- Track shipments and deliveries
- Assist kitchen employees with packing and sorting delivery items
- Maintain cleanliness of dock area and trucks
- Coordinate with other drivers for coverage
- Supervise afternoon and evening teams ensuring efficiency and productivity
- Assist production teams by allocating resources
- Hold student workers accountable for their objectives
