Job Requirements

  • Willingness to work in a food service environment all day
  • availability to work Wednesday through Sunday including mandatory weekends and holidays
  • ability to work in a team setting
  • interest in designing a new menu
  • ski or snowboard experience is a bonus
  • ability to maintain a friendly and upbeat attitude
  • prior experience in food service supervision preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in commercial kitchen settings
  • strong guest service orientation
  • ability to manage and motivate a team
  • prior involvement in inventory management and ordering
  • skills in menu design and development
  • excellent communication skills
  • familiarity with ski or snowboard culture is a bonus

Job Duties

  • Inventorying and ordering all food and equipment
  • hiring, training, motivating, and disciplining kitchen staff as appropriate
  • ensuring smooth functioning of the kitchen and dining areas
  • assuring a high level of guest service
  • designing a menu with a variety of food offerings
  • maintaining reasonable levels of profitability
  • creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere at the kitchen window, cafeteria, and cashier station
