Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • Strong employee engagement and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Culinary production experience
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional communication skills
  • Passion for high-level customer service
  • Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities
  • Proficient in computer skills and report management
  • Knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) and The Market Connection (TMC) preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience
  • At least 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • Demonstrated leadership and employee engagement skills
  • Experience with safety and sanitation compliance
  • Proficiency in professional communication and customer service
  • Preferred bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Preferred experience with national school lunch programs

Job Duties

  • Have oversight of day-to-day operations while delivering high-quality food service
  • Achieve company and client financial targets and goals
  • Create a positive environment
  • Ensure menu planning, meal pattern compliance, sanitation, and organization
  • Build strong partnerships with district leaders and school staff
  • Lead and develop food service teams across multiple locations
  • Utilize Sodexo’s programs, tools, and resources to enhance service delivery
