  • familiarity with assistive technology and visual communication methods

Job Duties

  • assist the director in planning, preparing, and overseeing nutritionally balanced meals that meet USDA guidelines
  • assist with food procurement, inventory control, and kitchen staff supervision
  • ensure compliance with federal nutrition standards and food safety regulations
  • collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to accommodate dietary restrictions, food allergies, and cultural preferences
  • maintain accurate records for USDA meal reimbursement programs
  • manage budgets effectively
  • train and supervise kitchen staff while implementing food safety protocols
