Job Description
The Department of Corrections, Division of Institutions, is a state agency committed to maintaining public safety and providing secure confinement, reformative programs, and supervised community reintegration for offenders. The agency is dedicated to upholding the rights and dignity of crime victims while treating offenders in a safe and humane environment. One of its key facilities, the Lemon Creek Correctional Center (LCCC), located in Juneau, Alaska, functions as both an intake and long-term male correctional facility. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Supervise inmate workers in food preparation and serving
- ensure standard recipes and portion control
- prepare a variety of medically prescribed diets
- maintain highest standards of sanitation
- oversee efficient and timely meal delivery
- enforce food safety and hygiene protocols
- coordinate with medical department on dietary needs
