Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate, read, and write English well
- Ability to understand and carry out simple oral and written instructions
- Minimum one year experience in food service
- Physical ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to attend meetings and in-service trainings

- Willingness to adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines in food handling
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum one year food service experience

- Ability to effectively communicate with all organizational levels
- Demonstrated attention to detail and adherence to food safety standards
- Prior experience in healthcare or hospital food service preferred
Job Duties
- Attends meetings and in-services
- Performs as a utility attendant/pot washer including workstation setup and sanitation equipment operation
- Maintains clean work area and controls tray line flow with minimal errors
- Performs as cafeteria helper or counter helper including organizing stock and refilling stations
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of workstations while preparing and serving food
- Performs as stores attendant ensuring proper storage, dating, and rotation of food and non-food items
- Prepares and delivers orders for satellite areas with proper documentation
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Maintains cleanliness of refrigerator, freezer, and food bank
- Performs as tray assembler or key tray assembler preparing cold foods and arranging trays
- Performs as diet aide reviewing patient menus for dietary compliance and assisting patients with selections
