Job Description

Lagoon Amusement Park is a well-established entertainment and family fun destination located in Farmington, Utah. Known for its thrilling rides, engaging attractions, and vibrant atmosphere, Lagoon attracts visitors of all ages throughout the year. Besides rides and games, Lagoon also offers a variety of dining options to ensure guests have a complete and enjoyable experience. The food service operations include multiple concession stands scattered throughout the park as well as a Group Foods Catering Area, both of which are integral in providing quality food and beverages to guests during their visit.

Job Requirements

Able to stand and/or walk for up to eight hours
Food division employees are required to obtain a valid Davis County Food Handler's Permit and to follow all food safety guidelines as outlined by the Davis County Department of Environmental Health as well as Lagoon's policies and procedures
Able to complete basic math and to accept, handle, and make change with U.S. currency
Able to perform work duties outdoors in varying weather conditions prevalent at the time
Shift times will vary depending on the need of the department, however most shifts will be in the afternoon/evening

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Davis County Food Handler's Permit
Basic math skills for handling transactions
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Prior food service or catering experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

Operate food concession stands and Group Foods Catering Area in accordance with Lagoon's policies and procedures
Prepare and serve food to guests following proper sanitation procedures
Maintain cleanliness and order of the work area throughout the shift
Obtain and adhere to food safety guidelines as outlined by Davis County Department of Environmental Health
Handle monetary transactions using U.S. currency including making change
Work shifts primarily during afternoon and evening hours
Perform duties while standing and walking for up to eight hours and in varying outdoor weather conditions
