Job Requirements
- valid CDL-A license
- over 21 years of age
- high school diploma/GED or equivalent
- 6+ months of commercial driving experience
- meet all state licensing and certification standards
- clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for past 3 years
- pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
- successfully complete road test
- possess or obtain valid DOT health card
- able to lift weights typically ranging from 10 to 90 pounds
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to adhere strictly to DOT safety regulations and company policies
Job Qualifications

- able to lift and utilize equipment to move product cases that typically vary in weight from 10-35 pounds, and occasionally up to 60-90 pounds
Job Duties
- conduct all necessary safety and pre/post-trip checks, inspecting the tractor/truck and trailer to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and report any safety issues
- adhere to all DOT laws and company safety policies
- report all safety hazards immediately and inspect trailers to ensure freight is loaded and secured properly
- perform a count check of loaded items and verify customer invoices, completing all required paperwork accurately
- transport tractor to the loading dock and connect to preloaded trailers as necessary
- follow a predetermined delivery route, unloading products, and transporting them into designated customer storage areas
- conduct damage control checks on items, scanning for issues and notifying supervisors for order removals as per company policy
- verify deliveries with customers and obtain necessary signatures, including collecting cash or checks where applicable
- load customer returns onto the trailer and secure it appropriately
- ensure the tractor and trailer are always locked and secured
- unload damaged goods and customer returns, completing necessary paperwork and maintaining cleanliness in the trailers
- accurately record hours of service in compliance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
- maintain general cleanliness and order within the tractor, loading dock, and trailers
- carry out other related duties as assigned
