Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, telephone systems, printers, and fax machines
  • Must be able to work full-time onsite in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, telephone systems, printers, and fax machines
  • Experience in an acute care and/or healthcare environment preferred
  • At least one year experience in customer service or a call center
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred

Job Duties

  • Fostering patient relationships by identifying and responding to their needs
  • Making internal or external contact with necessary personnel to address patient concerns as needed
  • Managing data to aid completion of patient orders
  • Ensuring accurate and professional processing of patient meal orders
  • Addressing questions and concerns from patients and their guests
  • Coordinating efficiently with hospital staff to enhance food service delivery
  • Maintaining confidentiality and security of patient information
