  • Ability to supervise and lead a team

Job Duties

  • Supervises dietary service staff in preparation of cold menu items and assembly of patient meal trays
  • Maintains productivity within budgetary limits
  • Requisitions foods and supplies and calculates amounts of foods to prepare
  • Operates cash register and handles cash accurately
  • Inspects equipment and department for safety, code compliance, sanitation and operation
  • Coordinates and maintains temperature logs and documents compliance
  • Completes staff orientation and supply requisitions
  • Ensures nourishments and tube feedings are prepared, labeled, and delivered accurately
