Job Duties
- Supervises dietary service staff in preparation of cold menu items and assembly of patient meal trays
- Maintains productivity within budgetary limits
- Requisitions foods and supplies and calculates amounts of foods to prepare
- Operates cash register and handles cash accurately
- Inspects equipment and department for safety, code compliance, sanitation and operation
- Coordinates and maintains temperature logs and documents compliance
- Completes staff orientation and supply requisitions
- Ensures nourishments and tube feedings are prepared, labeled, and delivered accurately
