Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry food and other items weighing up to 45 pounds and occasionally greater
  • Must be able to go from warm to cold climates
  • Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays
  • Follow and encourage team to follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Complete company-wide safety training and job-specific safety training
  • Report all safety incidents into company risk management system on same day

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in food and beverage industry
  • Experience with health department protocols
  • Good communication skills
  • Proven management or supervisory experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • ServSafe certified

Job Duties

  • Inspect all food stands prior to shows to identify and resolve potential health violations
  • Ensure temperature logs are posted on refrigeration and hot holding stations
  • Verify all necessary production logs are available for cooks
  • Confirm availability of thermometers, small wares, gloves, and other supplies for cook staff
  • Stock hand towel dispensers and soap dispensers
  • Check hand washing stations for hot water
  • Accompany County Health Officials during event walkthroughs and rectify any violations
  • Continuously monitor venue before, during, and after events to maintain food safety compliance
