Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hotel or related field preferred
  • ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
  • ability to stand for entire shift
  • flexible to work long hours as needed
  • effective communication with all levels of employees and guests
  • ability to listen, understand and clarify concerns
  • capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines
  • adherence to grooming and uniform standards
  • attendance at all required meetings and trainings
  • compliance with safety and operational policies
  • willingness to cross-train in hotel related areas
  • maintain friendly and warm demeanor at all times
  • reliable attendance in line with scheduling needs

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hotel or related hospitality field preferred
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • strong listening and problem-solving abilities
  • demonstrate initiative and guest service orientation
  • capable of working collaboratively in a team environment
  • maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Job Duties

  • provide the highest quality service to guests while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout operation hours
  • be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and fellow employees at all times
  • keep work areas clean and properly stocked during meal periods
  • clean and set tables according to property standards
  • break down trays of soiled dishes and linen in dishroom area as per standards
  • assist with pre-bussing tables and promptly resolve guest requests
  • complete daily opening and closing duties as per side-work checklist
  • answer phones attentively, courteously and efficiently
  • assist fellow employees as needed throughout shifts
  • perform additional duties as requested by management
