Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in hotel or related field preferred
- ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
- ability to stand for entire shift
- flexible to work long hours as needed
- effective communication with all levels of employees and guests
- ability to listen, understand and clarify concerns
- capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines
- adherence to grooming and uniform standards
- attendance at all required meetings and trainings
- compliance with safety and operational policies
- willingness to cross-train in hotel related areas
- maintain friendly and warm demeanor at all times
- reliable attendance in line with scheduling needs
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in hotel or related hospitality field preferred
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- strong listening and problem-solving abilities
- demonstrate initiative and guest service orientation
- capable of working collaboratively in a team environment
- maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Job Duties
- provide the highest quality service to guests while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout operation hours
- be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and fellow employees at all times
- keep work areas clean and properly stocked during meal periods
- clean and set tables according to property standards
- break down trays of soiled dishes and linen in dishroom area as per standards
- assist with pre-bussing tables and promptly resolve guest requests
- complete daily opening and closing duties as per side-work checklist
- answer phones attentively, courteously and efficiently
- assist fellow employees as needed throughout shifts
- perform additional duties as requested by management
