Job Requirements

  • ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language clearly
  • ability to grasp, bend, lift and or carry 50 lbs or otherwise move goods weighing a maximum of 400 lbs
  • ability to stand, move and work throughout the area and property including walking up to 10 miles, climbing stairs and riding elevators
  • ability to perform duties within hot, normal and cold temperature ranges
  • ability to work in confined spaces and awkward positions requiring crouching, kneeling, stooping and reaching overhead equipment and supplies for periods of time
  • sufficient manual dexterity of hand to handle kitchen supplies
  • ability to exercise judgment and adapt instructions from one assignment to another
  • ability to deal with problems requiring initiative and good judgment
  • ability to listen and respond to inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice
  • social skills to deal with internal and external customers with patience, tact and diplomacy
  • maintain attendance in conformance with standards

Job Qualifications

  • any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
  • ability to relate to all levels of management, guests and employees in verbal and written form
  • ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • good working knowledge of accepted standards of sanitation
  • ability to maintain attendance in conformance with standards

Job Duties

  • assist the outlet staff set up and prepare for business
  • assist with the cleanliness and sanitation of the outlet
  • maintain the stock and inventory
  • replenish condiments and restock shelves with supplies
  • check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
  • perform all assigned side work
  • respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance within hotel guidelines
