Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a food runner or similar role preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk and carry food items for extended periods
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • Well-groomed and presentable
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication skills both in-person and over the phone
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and perceptiveness to guests' needs
  • Ability to remain calm and positive in stressful situations
  • Close attention to detail and the ability to take direction
  • Capable of handling guest compliments and concerns with management support

Job Duties

  • Read tickets and run food efficiently
  • Describe dishes being served and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Retrieve items guests may need to enhance their meal experience
  • Assist servers with side work during quieter times
  • Ensure the station is fully stocked for both BOH and FOH needs
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
