Job Requirements

  • must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • previous food service experience preferred but not required
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • strong attention to detail
  • commitment to food safety and quality

  • understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
  • good oral communication skills
  • ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment
  • physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays or plates and stand for long hours

Job Duties

  • deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately
  • ensure the highest quality of food presentation is maintained
  • act as the point-of-contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
  • communicate food orders and pay attention to priorities and special requests such as food allergies
  • ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards including proper temperature
  • answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items
  • perform side work and station set-up
