Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food production or culinary services preferred
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, ovens, and steamers
- Knowledge of and adherence to food safety rules
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to train and guide student staff
- Willingness to participate in department meetings and training sessions

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate food production equipment

Job Duties
- Production of all regular and special meals served to Abbey residents and campus students
- Production of specialty food items for campus-wide catered functions
- Produce high-quality and attractively presented food
- Train and provide direction to food production student staff
- Update and maintain standardized recipes
- Edit daily production sheets to optimize time and resources
- Complete production sheets for future food projections
- Record and request food supplies from the warehouse
- Maintain department sanitation and safety standards
- Operate production equipment including slicers, mixers, ovens, and steamers
- Attend and participate in all required department meetings and trainings
- Provide input on menu ideas, cost-saving strategies, and service improvements
- Work cooperatively with diverse colleagues
- Perform other duties as assigned
