Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years management experience
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
  • Ability to lead diverse teams
  • Strong organizational and financial management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven success managing high-volume campus or university dining operations
  • Experience leading, training, and developing hourly teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong background in multi-unit or food court operations
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales, control costs, and achieve financial goals
  • Expertise in ordering, inventory, and cash handling procedures
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and Board of Health standards
  • Passion for creating a welcoming, student-centered dining experience

Job Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of daily food operations within the residential dining program
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and service that enhances the student dining experience
  • Drive operational excellence to meet and exceed financial, client, and customer goals
  • Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team to achieve performance and service standards
  • Manage budgets, food and labor costs, inventory, and ordering processes
  • Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
  • Build strong client and customer relationships and contribute to long-term strategic planning
