Job Duties
- Set up counters, salad bars, soup bars, etc.
- serve customers
- maintain portion control and fill out appropriate paperwork for computerized Food Services Program
- clean and prepare ingredients to make salads
- mix salad dressings and place salads on plates
- make French fries, hot and cold sandwiches, coffee, cook eggs, omelets, burgers, etc.
- slice meat, cut cake, pie, etc. and place on plates
- keep counters, steam tables, shelves in work area and other equipment such as mixers, fryers, grills, toaster, self-serve machines clean
- be familiar with products and ingredients used in menu items
- observe safety and health regulations and maintain highest standards of sanitation
- work as a waiter or waitress as required
