Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license for car and scooter delivery
- Provide Social Security number for background check
- State-issued ID for car, scooter, and bike delivery
- At least 19 years old for car and scooter delivery
- At least 18 years old for bike delivery
- At least a 2-door vehicle for car delivery
- Ability to use a car, scooter, or bike for deliveries
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to use smartphone apps proficiently
- Familiarity with the local area and navigation
- Prior delivery or food service experience is an asset
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Job Duties
- Accept delivery requests via the Postmates app
- Pick up orders from restaurants or stores promptly
- Deliver orders to customers in a timely and safe manner
- Communicate effectively with customers and support team if needed
- Handle deliveries using a car, scooter, or bike safely
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines including contactless delivery
- Manage cash outs and earnings through the app
