Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
  • four to six years in related food and beverage management roles
  • demonstrated leadership ability
  • knowledge of hospitality POS systems
  • strong communication skills
  • professional demeanor
  • capability to handle multiple priorities
  • ability to manage budgets and inventory

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university
  • four to six years related experience in food and beverage management
  • proficiency with hospitality POS systems and menu programming
  • experience in multi-faceted food and beverage operations
  • strong leadership and hospitality skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication
  • professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • assist in the management of department members including servers, greeters, runners, bartenders
  • assist with budget monitoring assigned Food and Beverage areas
  • review current day’s business levels in dining room/bar operations and assign priorities
  • relay pertinent information to key staff including sous chef, bar supervisors, executive offices, concierge, and membership office
  • assist Food and Beverage Director in monitoring dining room and bar success and conduct semi-annual performance reviews
  • conduct regular staff meetings
  • assure effective orientation and ongoing training programs
  • responsible for ordering, receiving, and inventory control
  • create cocktail lists and promote drink features
  • work with sous chef on dining room menu promotions
  • educate staff and communicate for marketing
  • ensure regular and reliable attendance
