Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • at least 3 months food service experience required
  • ability to read, write, and follow instructions
  • ability to count cash and make change
  • ability to use food thermometer and computerized cash register
  • ability to stand, bend, stoop, walk, and lift between 15-50 pounds
  • able to work with dust, fumes, and solvents daily

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of simple foods, casseroles, convenience foods
  • clean and prepare lettuce and ingredients for salads
  • make French fries, hot and cold sandwiches, coffee, cook eggs, omelets, burgers
  • slice meat, cut cake, pie
  • serve food on serving lines including sandwich bars, hot lines, salad bar
  • use computerized cash register to add costs, collect money, make change
  • balance and reconcile cash to register tapes
  • maintain cashier islands including restocking condiments, cleaning tables and chairs
  • prepare assorted fresh dough pizzas according to franchise specifications
  • receive stock and check deliveries against orders
  • rotate and date stock to use items before expiration
  • move items from storage to kitchen as directed
  • take weekly inventory of storeroom, freezer, cooler products
  • wash dishes, cooking utensils, counter space
  • observe safety and health regulations and maintain sanitation standards
