Job Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Possession and maintenance of valid passport and travel documents
  • Ability to report ready to work at assigned base within 2 hours (2.5 for NYC bases)
  • Ability to comply with FAA regulations and company policies
  • Ability to perform duties requiring physical capability such as lifting, reaching, sitting in jumpseats, and working in confined spaces
  • Ability to manage allergies and exposure to allergens
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance standards including tattoo and piercing limitations
  • Ability to use mobile handheld devices and computer programs
  • Ability to complete flight attendant training and on-the-job evaluation
  • Candidate height not to exceed 5 feet 11.5 inches
  • Ability to reach 6 feet 3 inches without shoes
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods under aircraft and airport conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Possession of a valid passport and travel documents
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience
  • Ability to maintain personal decorum and professional appearance
  • Familiarity with mobile handheld devices
  • Ability to complete a four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training program
  • Successful completion of Initial Operating Experience
  • Compliance with appearance policies including tattoo and piercing rules

Job Duties

  • Ensure the safety and comfort of customers by providing excellent service on board
  • Project and maintain a positive attitude and composure
  • Perform all work activities in accordance with established standards, policies, laws, and FAA regulations
  • Respond effectively during emergency situations including providing medical assistance
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages and process payments
  • Provide assistance with luggage and answer passenger questions, especially aiding unaccompanied minors and individuals with special needs
  • Communicate clearly with customers during public address announcements, safety demonstrations, and informational updates
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and safety regulations
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Manage exposure to allergens and work in confined spaces
  • Maintain professional appearance following uniform and grooming guidelines
  • Be dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to schedule changes
  • Utilize mobile devices and computer programs to complete work tasks and communications
  • Complete required paperwork and detailed reports related to incidents or discrepancies
