Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • six months of recent experience in the automotive or equipment industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • possession and maintenance of valid Arizona driver's license
  • successful completion of a background check
  • successful completion of pre-employment drug test
  • willingness to comply with DOT alcohol and drug testing policies
  • ability to work in extreme weather conditions
  • ability to lift 25-50 pounds
  • reliable and regular attendance

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • six months of recent experience in the automotive or equipment industry
  • valid Arizona driver's license
  • knowledge of basic automotive parts, materials, and equipment handling
  • knowledge of safety rules and OSHA guidelines
  • ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams
  • skill in computerized vehicle maintenance and inventory tracking programs
  • ability to work in varied weather conditions
  • good physical ability to lift 25-50 pounds
  • ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Job Duties

  • pick up and deliver vehicles, equipment parts, materials, and supplies as directed
  • conduct routine cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory of parts
  • serve as backup to Parts Specialist and Fleet Coordinator
  • deliver and transfer county vehicles and equipment between departments, offices, or vendor locations
  • wash, clean, and prepare vehicles for delivery or maintenance
  • maintain vehicle records in Fleet Information Management System (FIMS)
  • generate and prepare reports for parts or fleet data from FIMS or Telematics software
