Job Requirements

  • Must have a valid Class A CDL
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a safe driving record
  • No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
  • Minimum 4 months of driving experience
  • Background check required
  • Clean drug test required
  • Clean clearinghouse result required
  • Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL license
  • Minimum 4 months of flatbed truck driving experience
  • Preferred 1 year of truck driving experience
  • Ability to pass background check and drug test
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Physically able to lift 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot platform twice
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Operate flatbed trucks safely on regional routes transporting goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, and machinery
  • Secure cargo with tarps and binders ensuring load safety
  • Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations and company safety policies
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Maintain accurate records of routes, mileage, and deliveries
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Ensure timely delivery while optimizing routes for efficiency
