Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to follow detailed food preparation instructions
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to use standard food preparation equipment and utensils appropriately
  • Must obtain Food Safety Certification within 6 months of hire

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, certification, GED, training or experience required
  • Knowledge in principles of sanitation and safety in food handling and equipment
  • Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 1 year of trade school or vocational schooling preferred
  • Food Safety Certification required within 6 months of hire

Job Duties

  • Oversee and support the preparation and production of food for patient and guest meals
  • Ensure department goals and objectives are met
  • Follow standardized recipes, daily production charts, and instructions
  • Ensure food is produced according to quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, temperature, and timeliness standards
  • Follow HACCP procedures
  • Use standard food preparation equipment, utensils, and measuring devices appropriately
