Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid, non-expired driver’s license
- No CDL required
- Must meet FMCSA English language requirements
- No DUI convictions
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving packages
- Must be available for daytime shifts only
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- Must pass drug test with no marijuana use
- Must pass DOT physical
- Must demonstrate reliability and intention for long-term employment
- Must possess good communication and customer service skills
- Must have positive self-initiative and decision-making ability
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Possess a valid, non-expired driver’s license
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to comply with FMCSA standards
- No requirement for a CDL
- No DUI convictions
- Demonstrated self-initiative and safety awareness
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to work daytime shifts
- Prior experience in delivery or driving preferred but not required due to paid training
- Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and DOT physical examination
Job Duties
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of delivery vehicles
- Deliver packages to residential and business locations in Western Shawnee and Lenexa
- Operate FedEx vehicles in compliance with safety and DOT regulations
- Utilize GPS systems to plan and follow efficient delivery routes
- Load and unload packages, using dollies and assistance if necessary
- Maintain accurate timekeeping and delivery records
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with recipients and team members
