Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- have a valid driver's license
- possess a clean driving record
- pass a drug test including marijuana and participate in random drug screens
- pass a Department of Transportation physical
- be able to safely lift up to 75 pounds and up to 150 pounds with hand truck
- pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
- have reliable transportation to and from work
- be punctual and ready to work each day
- able to climb stairs
- able to work in all types of weather
- have a strong work ethic and a get it done attitude
Job Qualifications
- Have work-related driving experience
- be familiar with local delivery routes
- able to lift up to 75 pounds and 150 pounds with a hand truck
- pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
- maintain a clean driving record
- able to work in all weather conditions
- demonstrate strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Job Duties
- Operate vehicle safely at all times
- deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences
- perform daily inspection of vehicle including fluid level checks
- load vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads
- work independently and as part of a team
- provide exceptional customer service and maintain communication with manager
- accurately operate scanner and track delivery process
- ensure accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups
- consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
