Job Requirements
- Routinely lifts and carries up to 30 lbs
- Frequently pushing and/or pulling of items up to 30 lbs
- Occasionally lifting items up to 50 lbs
- Constantly moving throughout the event space while carrying items
- Able to be trained and comply with life-safety procedures
- Able to be trained and comply with food safety handling guidelines
- Able to be trained and perform the various roles of Event Staff
- Available to work nights and weekends on an irregular schedule
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
- Working knowledge of food and beverage service preferred
- Positive and professional attitude
- Ability to interact with diverse groups in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must be teamwork oriented and work well within the team
Job Duties
- Assist with set-up of server stations (water/tea/coffee)
- Complete any tasks assigned by opening servers to help prepare for service
- Help polish glassware at beginning and end of shift and during if needed
- Provide excellent food and beverage service for Genevieve's
- Uphold the highest level of hospitality
- Exhibit a friendly and approachable attitude toward guests and peers
- Help clear tables of dirty dishes and glassware
- Run food to tables and clearly communicate the food being delivered and note any changes made to the dishes in the instance of allergens
- Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures
- Maintain sense of urgency when on the service floor
- Maintain clear and open communication with all staff members
- Always follow food safety and sanitation practices
- Know how to operate commercial dishwashers
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Emptying and managing trash
- Complete all other duties as assigned by the Beverage Manager or Floor Supervisor
